How did you meet?

Melissa’s brother introduced us on the golf course.

What made you decide to have a Destination Wedding?

We didn’t want to have too many guests, and I had always wanted to get married on the beach.

Once the planning started, was there anything that surprised you?

The resort had a wedding package, but I was surprised at the cost of all the add-ons. We kept things fairly minimal, and it still turned out beautiful.

Was there a thing or two you splurged on that you are now happy you did?

We paid for an extra hour of the reception and DJ, and it was so worth it.

Any advice for a future destination wedding couple?

If you get married at an all-inclusive, don’t feel like you have to do every add-on. At the end of the day, no one will remember what reception centerpiece you choose. Just have fun and don’t sweat the small stuff!

How was your experience with Playa Bella Weddings and Travel and would you recommend our services?

My experience was wonderful! Lori was amazing, very attentive and a big advocate for me working when with the resort. I would definitely recommend them!
