We’ve been in this business quite a while. Inquiries come in
daily. Some are serious about getting their party started, others are looking
for tid-bits of information so they can ‘do it themselves’.

Just 8 months ago, I got a call from one of those brides-to-be who insisted she could handle all her guests resort reservations and had never worked with a Travel Agent in the past, so why should she start now? Our conversation was lengthy and no question was off limits. I provided her with answers to all her questions…knowing, she may not even end up working with us, but that is part of the gig we signed up for.
An hour after we hung up, I received an email from her that
she wanted to work with us and couldn’t wait to get started. Smart move,
Girlfriend!

Here we are…8 month’s later, and her All-Inclusive Resort Destination Wedding happens in just a few weeks in Mexico. During this time, her estimated guest list of 50ish went to over 80 guests now traveling to be a part of her toe’s in the sand ‘I Do’s’. Several guests had to cancel after they had already had their reservations paid for, several guests finally got the go-ahead from work or life itself, and came onboard at very late dates. Various room requests, transportation logistics and payment plans.
All of these things would have fallen on the plate of the
bride to be had she not partnered with us. And…plenty more. There are attrition
dates, penalty deadlines and so much more it can make MY head spin sometimes! But…that
is our job, and a job we dearly love! It is our job to take as much
stress off the bride in the month’s leading up to her big day. We do this day
in and day out, and couldn’t be happier.
And…neither could this bride. She has shared her gratitude multiple times on this journey and ‘doesn’t know how we do, what we do, day in and day out’.
There is so much a bride has on her plate in the days and
months leading up to the big day…finding the perfect dress, deciding on
invitations, getting the invitations sent out, connecting with the resort wedding
team on colors, décor, DJ services, optional excursions and more. All of these
things are new to her, but highly anticipated. Now throw how to manage
inventory at a resort, transportation logistics and spreadsheets, and playing
bill collector to her family and friends into the mix, add’s just a whole other
level of stress.
So…can you do a Destination Wedding without a Travel Agent
expert in the arena? Sure. But why? We joyfully handle all those details and
stressors so you get to focus on the fun things! We excel at making sure the
group is well taken care of and knowing the bride and groom can stay as relaxed
as possible makes us happy, happy people!
